Cancun climate summit

cop16

The United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in Cancun, Mexico, from 29 November to 10 December 2010, encompasses the sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP 16). Almost 200 nations will meet to try to agree on a "green fund" for poor countries and other steps toward an elusive climate treaty.

Together with Global CCS Institute, National Wildlife Federation, and other organisations, Bellona will be conducting workshops on subjects ranging from CO2 capture and storage to carbon-negative energy and the US Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Download program for Bellona room (PDF).
