Solar

Nils Bøhmer

Solar power describes various methods to extract energy from the light of the sun. Solar energy is relatively pollution free, and solar facilities run with little extra input or maintenance. However, the best placed locations tend to be remote from the places where the energy demand is highest. Solar energy is also limited in dark or cloudy conditions. The use of solar power for energy is believed to increase tenfold in coming years as the technology and storing capacity is being refined.
